Celebrating Social Work Month
March 27, 2023
With March being Social Work Month and March 21 being World Social Work Day, what better time to share about the importance of Social Work? Social Work Month was created to uplift the Social Workers of our country and celebrate their constant contributions to our society. Social Workers tend to people in need at every stage of life, from childhood to end-of-life care.
"I have a great passion for caring for others and helping families of our residents get through some of the toughest times in their lives. Caring for a loved one at home can be challenging. My passion is to help families and residents make the transition from home into our facility as easy and stress-free as possible when that time comes for them to make that tough decision.
I have an Associate of Arts in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. I've worked at Hickory Creek for four years, starting as an STNA for the first two years. I am currently on my second year anniversary since I moved up to the Social Services position.
I currently reside in Nelsonville, Ohio. I have been married to my husband, Josh Coen, for 25 years. I have four children and six grandchildren. My hobbies include camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time with my family."
Thank you, Jenn, for all the hard work you do at Hickory Creek! We appreciate you so much! We hope you enjoy your month and special day!
