June Employee of the Month

Please join us in celebrating Leslie Clark, Hickory Creek’s June Employee of the Month! Leslie has been a dedicated STNA at Hickory Creek of Athens for nearly six years and is an essential part of our East Wing team. Her compassion, hard work, and heartfelt connection with residents make her truly irreplaceable.



Leslie’s favorite part of her job is caring for the residents and forming meaningful relationships with them. Her warmth and kindness help create a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that both residents and staff cherish.

When asked what advice she would give to new aides, Leslie shared words of encouragement: “Don’t give up or quit. Remember, you are welcome here—just give it time.” And to new residents, she says: “We’re glad to have you, and we hope that you enjoy it here. Everyone becomes like family, and you’ll meet new friends.”

In her free time, Leslie enjoys gardening, and her favorite flowers are peace lilies—a beautiful symbol of the peace and care she brings to work every day.

Leslie’s nomination came with a wave of praise from her co-workers, who admire her tireless dedication and the incredible impact she has on both residents and staff alike:
