April 9, 2020
The Plains, Ohio - We are so excited to honor and introduce you to our Hickory Creek Heroes! Each week we will be posting a few of our Heroes along with a special message about what makes them so amazing! You will get to meet everyone on our team! Make sure you click on the individual picture to get to know each hero a little better and what makes them so special. We thought you might like to get to know our heroes behind the mask!

Get to know Dreama behind the mask! Dreama Pickens, RN, has been a nurse for 14 years and served as a hero at Hickory Creek for over 12 years! When she is not being a hero on the front-line as a nurse, she is a hero at her home; she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, and taking walks. She also loves to cut the grass. When we asked Dreama what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Sharing stories with the residents and hearing their laughter, especially during this difficult time. Also, getting to work with the best group of people that support each other. Our facility is full of heroes doing everything we can to keep our residents and staff safe and healthy!" We also asked Dreama what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dreama said, "Please stay home and wash your hands frequently throughout the day. Each of us has to do our part to stop the spread. We are America Strong!!" Thank you for being our Hero, Dreama!

Get to know Jennifer behind the mask! Jennifer Loudermilk, STNA, has been a nursing assistant for 22 years and served as a hero at Hickory Creek for 15 years! When we asked Jennifer what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "The residents and being able to see them smile!" We also asked Jennifer what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Jennifer said, "Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing and wash your hands often." Thank you for being our Hero, Jennifer!
