Get to know Kathy behind the mask! Kathy Warren, STNA, has been a hero at Hickory Creek for almost three years! When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. When we asked Kathy what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Spending time with the residents and listening to their stories!" We also asked Kathy what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Kathy said, "Stay home, wash your hands, and cover your cough and sneezes." Get to know Ashley behind the mask! Ashley Collins, STNA, has been in the healthcare industry for eight years. She has been serving as a hero at Hickory Creek for a little over a month! We are so happy to have her as part of our team! When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she likes to spend time with her kids. She also likes to go camping, fishing, and hiking. When we asked Ashley what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Being there for the residents when the families can't." We also asked Ashley what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ashley said, "Wash your hands, use good hygiene, and wear a mask if available." Get to know Kelvin behind the mask! Kelvin Hoover has been working maintenance in the healthcare industry for four years. He has been our Maintenance Director at The Creek for a year. When he is not being a hero on the front-line, he enjoys going hunting and fishing, reading history, playing the guitar, gardening, and painting! When we asked Kelvin what his favorite thing about his job at Hickory Creek was, he said, "Fixing things for people makes their day a little better." We also asked Kelvin what advice he would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Kelvin said, "Eventually, it will go away." Thank you for being our Hero, Kelvin!
Get to know Caitlin behind the mask! Caitlin Hodge, LPN, has been in the healthcare industry for five years. She has been a Hero at Hickory Creek for four years total, three years as an STNA, and one year as an LPN. When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her fur baby, Smokey! When we asked Caitlin what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Taking care of the residents and getting to hear about their lives." We also asked Caitlin what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Caitlin said, "Wash your hands, this will all be over soon, hopefully." Get to know Brook behind the mask! Brook Hauck, STNA, has been in the healthcare industry for six years. She has been a Hero here at Hickory Creek for a little over nine months! When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she likes to spend time with her family, fishing, swimming, have cookouts, and help others as much as possible! When we asked Brook what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Hearing stories from the residents. Seeing the residents' laugh, smile, and make jokes." We also asked Brook what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Brook said, "Please stay home the best you can. If you must go out, wear PPE and wash your hands often!"
