Get to know Hickory Creek of Athen's Admissions and Marketing Director, Jordyn!

"I’m Jordyn- the Admissions and Marketing Director at Hickory Creek but Aunt J is my best title. I have been working at Hickory Creek since August 2023 and I can say it has been such a great experience. My favorite part about the job is getting out in the community and educating people about our skilled nursing facility. I also really enjoy the planning of our facility events. The biggest one yet was our Halloween Bash which we opened to the community last October. In the future, I look forward to continuing my career here and growing with the facility. It’s a joy to see residents thrive, whether they are in long-term care or succeeding in therapy and returning home.



I have a dog named Rhino, he’s a Neapolitan Mastiff. I enjoy the outdoors, flower shopping, and exploring new wineries and breweries. My favorite movie is Twister or anything Lifetime has to offer. My favorite place to vacation would be anywhere where there is a beach. I also love the “Northern Keys” aka Put-in-Bay & Kelley’s Island. I enjoy traveling and getting to experience new places as well. Spring is my favorite season. I'm a coffee drinker, let's be real; It's the creamer for me! Lastly, a fun fact about me is I met my husband here at Hickory Creek!"
