Meet Our New Director of Admissions and Marketing

Being a part of the Foundations Health portfolio, the largest healthcare provider in Ohio, we love getting the opportunity to share about the incredible individuals that keep our facilities running and whose hard work and commitment make a difference every day. We'd like to introduce our new Director of Admissions and Marketing at Hickory Creek of Athens, Carla Vickers!

Carla graduated from Ohio University in 2001 with a BA in Sociology-Criminology. She came to Hickory Creek with a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 10 years of experience in healthcare, marketing, long-term care and geriatric behavioral health. We're so lucky to have Carla here with us to help bring the highest quality of care and knowledge in the latest technology to each of our residents.

Carla started on our Hickory Creek team just over two months ago and the impact of her presence can already be seen. Our Administrator at Hickory Creek, Jamie Davis, shared, "Carla has been kicking butt and taking names! We are excited and proud to have her be a part of our Creek Family. Carla is a true go-getter and an asset to our team and community."

Geriatric behavioral health is Carla's passion. She expressed, "Helping others gives me a sense of purpose in my work." Hickory Creek proudly offers a secured behavioral unit that's designed to safely care for people experiencing a mental health crisis who would benefit from a calm, structured environment. Carla is here living out her passion by assisting residents and their families with behavioral-related needs and more.
