At Hickory Creek of Athens, Ashlye and her dynamic Activities Team redefine the meaning of joy and engagement for our residents. Their creativity knows no bounds! Behind the scenes, these dedicated individuals contribute to more than just games and crafts. From resident shopping to outings, and Secret Santa events to holiday dinners, the team ensures a seamless and joyful experience, making sure everyone is included. Even residents who prefer one-on-one activities receive that personalized attention.
Activities are the heartbeat of our facility, keeping residents active, happy, and involved. We love witnessing our residents thrive thanks to our incredible Activities Team at Hickory Creek!
Ashlye's dedication spans nearly three decades. Her kids practically grew up in the facility, forming special bonds with residents. Her favorite activity? Anything that puts smiles on residents' faces, from big events to exercise groups.
Noodle ball enthusiast and music lover, Shannon adds a touch of adventure to her life with photography, sunsets, side-by-side rides, and exploring new restaurants and wineries. Most importantly, she enjoys silly moments with her daughter.
Lisa, with a passion for watercolor painting, brings creativity to the team. Alongside managing her role, she's a licensed massage therapist and homeschools her two sons. Noodle ball, cooking group, and one-on-one sessions are her favorite resident activities.
Alana, an STNA, joins the department when needed. Movie nights with popcorn are her go-to activity. Outside work, she explores new restaurants, travels, and cherishes family and friends.
Bingo enthusiast Kearston, in her first year of nursing school, adds a vibrant touch to the team.
Christopher, a fantastic team addition for nine months, enjoys noodle ball as his favorite resident activity. Beyond work, he's a full-time student at Tri-County studying Construction.
