Hickory Creek Celebrates a Therapy Success

Sherone came to Hickory Creek Nursing Center following a total knee replacement. Prior to surgery, Sherone was living at home alone. Sherone enjoys spending time with family, friends, and caring for her pets.
Upon evaluation following her surgery, Sherone required supervision assistance with ambulation, moderate assistance with bed mobility tasks, and maximal assistance with activities of daily living and required a front wheeled walker for mobility. With her determination, Sherone was able to return to her prior level of function in all areas and is ready to return home.
During therapy, Sherone learned to manage her knee pain using work simplification techniques.
Sherone returned home to live independently and is excited to be back in her own living space.
